I would always train my first dog - my maltese to Sit and Stay on a couch or chair, and make him pose for never ending pictures with various outfits.<br /><br />I think i buy more clothes for my dogs than myself yearly!<br /><br />Tips for buying clothes for your dog:<br /><br />1) What size to get?<br />If your dog is less than 12 months, which is still a puppy and not full grown, do make it a point to buy at least one size bigger, so that the clothing can still be worn after a few months or years!<br /><br />2) To determine the size for your dog:<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://www.sweetpeabiscuitandjam.com/preview/images/graphics/sbj_sizDog.gif" /><br /></div><br />Always measure the chest diameter first, which means one loop around your dog's chest (the broadest part) with one finger in. This is the most vital part where you do not want the clothing to be too tight or too loose. A dog will never ever like to wear clothes if they are too tight fitting or so loose that it distracts them from moving about.<br /><br />Next, measure the back length of your dog from its neck to base of the tail (not including the tail!)
